I am about to start sailing again and need main and jib sails for a plywood Flying Ant. The original main, in particular, is in a deteriorated condition. I am a retired guy and for now only intend to use the skiff for single-handed recreational sailing on Parramatta River, Pittwater, etc, not for racing, so would like some club used superseded sails no longer required. Price negotiable, subject to assessment of condition by Hornsby sailmaker or other independent and competent person. John 99807632

Flying Ants are sailed out of Northbridge Sailing Club. That might be close to you.
They might be able to assist. They have some very nice boats there that you could get some ideas from. Also one of the boats there is soon to be for sale and has a number of sails.

I am from Victoria but were talking to them at the Perth National last Chrissy.

I too am looking for flying Ant sails preferably in western australian. I have also contacted yacht clubs that sail the ants and as yet have no response. Did you have any more leads on where to source some White Ant?

I was wondering if you can spread the word that we have a Flying Ant for sale in Perth. Its in excellent condition and in perfect working order. The boats name is Antz Pantz 574.
