Sorry don't know, guessing it'll be on the east coast somewhere because they are in W.A. this year.

Cheers.

It was agreed at this years AGM (held at nationals) next years titles will be held at Illawara Yacht Club (NSW).
Having been involved in the Ants for the past 4 years I can recomend attending these regattas, no matter what skill level you are at.

Don't believe definate dates have been set as yet, as a guess I'd think the Ant nationals would preceed the 16's, finishing a couple of days before they commence, but that's just a guess.
As for camping you would need to contact the club.

At this stage the plan is to hold the ants before the skiffs

I have been involved at IYC for along time. In the past camping has been available at the club. Power is usually available. Toilet and shower facilities are available in the club while it is open (generally 9.00 am till midnight. Closes around 10.30 pm. some weeknights). When the club closes there is one male toilet and one female toilet that can be accessed throughout the night. Camping at the club is generally better if there's a group for increased security. The club is in a built up area and there can be people around at night particularly if the prawns are on.
Food is available at the club's bistro and there will be a canteen running over the regatta.
There is a large shopping centre 1km away.

P.S. We would have to make a request to the club to get the OK.

Thanks for tha info we are planning at this stage to attend. Unsure at this stage if we will bring the trailable or the van.

Daryl

Plenty of room for the van if thats the way you go.

Good jetty to berth the trailable overnight right in front of the club.

Generally calm overnight as the sea breeze usually drops at night. Can probably expect at least one good Southerly change over the regatta which can blow for up to 24 Hrs and the club faces south.

That sounds good. Now we just have to plan the Nationals in with the rest of the christmas Hols.
