Final results Australian Junior Classes Camp 2016

To Sailors and Families of the Inaugural Australian Junior Classes Sailing Camp at SoPYC, please find the message below from your class reps:

We had 62 sailors registered with 9 Flying Ants, 18 Minnows and 13 Pelicans giving us 40 boats attending and more than 30 sailors and families camping. Im sure SoPYC didn’t know what hit them!

What a weekend, with buried treasure, excitement on the water, blocked dunnies, awesome coaching, mixed fleet racing and overall great family fun times sailing and camping on the Swan! What a perfect venue. From all the fleets thank you to SoPYC for hosting the event.

Thank you to all sailors participating especially those that travelled far and a really big thank you to all the volunteers and coaches who made the weekend. Great to see everyone there pitching in and making things happen - too many to list - fantastic work everyone! Really, really appreciated. As a result of everyones efforts all the kids had an amazing weekend, which is the best reward for all.

We’ve had a few lessons learned from our inaugural sailing camp and have lots of ideas & improvements for running this event again. Any comments & feedback is welcomed from those attending so we can aim to make it even better.

Thank You from your fleet reps
